Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty's Warzone don't share a currency, an account system, or even a pricing structure — so "which one should I top up" isn't really one question, it's three separate ones. Here's how the three actually compare right now, and what to check before you commit money to any of them.
Fortnite V-Bucks
Fortnite is in Chapter 7 Season 3 ("Runners"), which wraps on August 19, 2026 right before Chapter 7 Season 4 ("Override") replaces it. The season's Battle Pass costs 950 V-Bucks. Fortnite V-Bucks redeem straight onto your Epic Games account with no region lock, and the balance carries over between seasons within Fortnite itself — so leftover credit isn't wasted, it just won't unlock content from a Battle Pass that's already closed.
Apex Legends Coins
Apex just moved into Season 30 ("Marked"), which launched August 4, 2026 with a Bloodhound rework and a new loot economy pass. The Premium Battle Pass runs 60 levels for 950 Apex Coins, split between a free track and a paid one. Apex Legends Coins load onto your EA account and work across PC and console. Note that Apex Coins only apply to the main PC/console game — they don't carry over to any mobile spinoff, since those run on separate accounts and progression entirely.
Call of Duty Points (Warzone / Black Ops 7)
Warzone and Black Ops 7 are both on Season 5, live since July 23, 2026, and expected to run into mid-September based on the usual two-month cadence. This is a pricier ecosystem than the other two: the base Battle Pass costs 1,100 COD Points (about $10), while the BlackCell upgrade — which bundles the Battle Pass, an exclusive Operator, and 1,100 COD Points back — runs 2,400 points. Call of Duty Points work across Modern Warfare, Black Ops, and Warzone on any linked Activision account. If your Call of Duty time is mostly on mobile, Call of Duty Mobile CP is the separate currency for that version, sold in smaller denominations starting around a dollar rather than the $10-and-up tiers the console/PC games use.
So Which One Actually Costs More?
Face-value pricing on Fortnite, Apex, and the console/PC Call of Duty games is close enough that it isn't really a deciding factor — all three price a standard Battle Pass at roughly $9–10 worth of currency. The real difference is what that currency unlocks and how often you'd realistically use it: Fortnite and Apex both keep to one Battle Pass tier per season, while Call of Duty splits the same season into a cheaper base pass and a notably more expensive BlackCell tier, which is worth factoring in if you're deciding how much to buy rather than which currency to buy.
Buying the Right Amount
The simplest approach is to buy just enough for the season you're actually playing rather than stockpiling a currency you might not touch again for months. Because none of these currencies convert into each other, splitting your gaming budget across all three only makes sense if you genuinely play all three games — otherwise, a single well-sized top-up for whichever game you're actually in this season goes further than spreading smaller amounts across all of them.
All four currencies are in our Gaming Gift Cards category, priced in BTC, ETH, or USDT, and delivered by email the moment your crypto payment confirms — no card details required for any of them.
